Easter used to be a one day event when I was growing up. It was a special breakfast, Easter baskets and an indoor egg hunt with my parents and siblings. In the afternoon, we would go to my grandparents and have an outdoor egg hunt with our cousins. An over the top, delicious Easter dinner was always followed by yummy desserts.
My husband and I have taken on hosting Easter each year and we have started some of our own traditions. Where we live, there are Easter egg hunts and community events to participate in for the two weeks surrounding Easter Sunday. This year, we decided to have a few of the girls’ friends over for a cookie decorating party.
All of our party supplies are from Hoopla Events. Their pink striped plates, plastic square milk bottles, candy favor tubes, paper straws and striped candy cups were all perfect to set our table with. Check out Hoopla Events for your party supply needs!
Each of the kids had their own decorating tools and a plate full of undecorated sugar cookies to play with. The girls all love to be creative and there’s no better way to get creative than to do it with frosting and sprinkles! Well, maybe that’s just my baker’s opinion! The table centerpiece included several desserts; mini donuts, sugar cookies, cupcakes and easter egg french macarons.
Our easter egg painted mason jars from Always the Occasion filled with white flowers gave our table the perfect spring feel.
Such a cute and fun party!
How fun! They look like they are having a blast!
